The Museum of Augusta Military Academy showcases 119 years of the academy's history and far-reaching impact on the surrounding community from its beginnings in 1865, to its closing in 1984. Located in the home of the academy's founder, the carefully renovated and restored historic museum recreates a Victorian parlor, cadet barracks, and classrooms. It displays photographs and artifacts from generations of academy life and an impressive history.
