After moving to Harrisonburg from Carini, Italy, Vito and his wife Katharine opened Vito's Italian Kitchen in 2007. The couple delights in serving up unique dishes such as eggplant fries, fried calamari, rigatoni with house-made vodka sauce, and seafood entrées to satisfy lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Guests appreciate the service provided along with the great food. They sum it up best by saying "life is too short to eat bad Italian food."
